I've been spending some time to myself lately, just focusing on having some fun and not worrying about anyone else for a while. I have stopped being so emo lately, and I have had one of the best weeks that I've had in a long while. It seems all the planets have been aligned this past week, and everything is awesome right now.

One of the most awesome things: I moved my home from Envision to live on Alicia's sim, Bluebonnet. I was reasonably unhappy on Envision, so I've been secretly waiting for an opening on Bluebonnet. When she announced she had some larger parcels open - I definitely jumped on one.

I love my new parcel - its bigger than the one I had on Envision, and its a corner parcel, which is awesome. :D While I lost my amazing sunsets on my west facing Envision land, I gained sunrises with Bluebonnet. I spent a good portion of yesterday setting up my new residence, and snapped a couple pictures.

bluebonnet

I was unprepared for new land, and hunted, hunted, hunted, for a house large enough that I liked. It was total fail. I already have the majority of quality prefabs out there, due to my house ADD, and wanted something different, and new-ish. Total fail. I decided to set up a temporary house - a modded version of the house I loved the most - my Pixel Mode Alloy prefab. Its modded to be twice as big, and twice as difficult to furnish. xD But, I've made the landscaping to be my little tropical retreat already. :D

bluebonnet-02

I've always wanted some little dance area, but a lot of the ones I've seen were either poorly built, or looked...... not very good. So, I attempted to use pieces from my house, and make a matching dance pavilion thing. I'm still not entirely sure why I wanted this, but I had tons of extra space on my land, and nothing to fill it with. I don't hold parties or anything, but now I seem to have a mini-club filled with slowdances. xD

I'll probably be showing a couple more pictures of it, as I furnish it - but these are the only two areas I'm happy with right now. ^^

OMG, I've changed houses again! This time, I'm trying a skybox, for a variety of reasons, one of which is because with my computer issues, I get less of a slideshow being pretty high up.

So, I dragged Kamian around with me, looking at houses, skyboxes and furniture, trying to find something we both will like. We finally settled on one, and made it our own by doing a little editing of it. My main problem with this house was, its a 2 rooms bigger than what I'm used to, and the rooms were set up quite obviously - dining room and kitchen, the two room are rooms I hate furnishing. I can never find good dining room sets (omg, they are so expensive!), and kitchens are ALWAYS no mod, and are never in the shape or color I have in mind.

However, one of the many awesome things about living with a builder is, he is always willing to build me stuffs. :P So, after much thinking, I took him up on his offer to make me a kitchen :D

kitchen-set

It's totally awesome. I was hesitant to let him build me a kitchen at first, because they are so complicated and would take days to finish - and I feel bad asking him to do something for me that would take that long. But, he had this completely done in like, 30 minutes. :O

dining-room-set

And, seeing how awesome and quick to build the kitchen was, I gave him a second task of making a dining room set too. P Its quite primmy, but I still love it. He's always so patient when listening to my requests, its kinda scary. XD

A little side note - I actually changed the land title of my home to include Kamian. :D Instead of Sai's home, it now says Sai and Kamian's Home. We are there for the majority of the time we are together, so its only fitting, right? :D

I do plan on taking more pictures of the house once it gets completely furnished and everything, so a big post on that will be coming soon :D

Hi guys! Today I am happeh happeh! I've been struggling with the Pixel Mode house I purchased a few weeks ago. It has tons of wall space to fill, and too many rooms. I attempted to take out the walls and create a huge room - but it ended in total fail.

So, I went hunting down a new house. I went everywhere I could think of, and ended up somewhere I've never been before. This place didn't have their houses out on display to see, but I thought one looked so cute in the picture, I had to buy it.

house-ingrid

I am so pleased with it. Its much easier to furnish than the Pixel Mode was, and I love all the windows in it. It came with the kitchen, the fireplace and shelves in the bedroom, which is awesome. I plan on posting more pictures later on - when I get it all furnished.

But, I did come across a few really annoying problems. The windows do not tint. This is quite important to me, because when I organize inventory, I am often on my pose stand naked, and the Envision covenant says no public nekkie! So, I purchased some window tint on SLX, dropped the scripts in, and went :D Also - the doors didn't lock. I brought out my awesome scripts from Scripts R Us, and popped them in the doors - yay! Works!

Also - the house originally had a pool. But, why would I have a pool, when I have a whole ocean and pond? So, I took it out, and made it a concrete slab - perfect place for a spa :D

I feel like this right now:

omgtired

Why, you ask? I shall tell you :D
  1. I'm extremely stuffed from Thanksgiving dinner. I love pumpkin pies, but I'm so full, I don't think my stomach is capable of eating any anytime soon. XD
  2. Family. OMG, there is nothing I hate more than dealing with the family during the Holidays. Its so exhausting. :/
  3. I finally finished my Lolita pose set. Its been a bit exhausting to do, but I'm excited to be done with them. I just need to make the picks rewards gift, make ads, and stick them in the store. I'm hoping to be done with this by Sunday.
  4. There are a few things that have been on my head lately, but am unsure about them as of right now. However, I don't really want to blog about them until they are done, finished, sorted out, and for certain. So, its been draining my thoughts a bit. They are very awesome things that I'm very excited about, but - just needs to take some time to come to reality. ^^
So, I am stuffed full with foods, tired, exhausted, and bleh feeling, but, I am quite happeh! \o/

OMG, I'm feeling so much better now without a toothache, so back to blogging I go! I mentioned a few posts ago that - I got tired of my little black house, and decided to move on to a bigger, lighter colored home. So, I went back to Pixel Mode and purchased a beautiful home - The Fallingbridge.

Now for my rant. It wasn't long before I realized: this house does not have lockable doors. I live next to a club, and it seems random people like to come up to my door, so lockable doors is a must for me. I was shocked that this home wasn't equipped with them, so I sent the creator a notecard about it a few days after purchasing.

Over a week later, I received no answer. I decided I was done waiting, and spent ALL NIGHT last night working with these doors and trying to find a script that works with multi-prim double doors. I finally found some, which worked awesome! OMG, thank you for offering these scripts for so cheap, Scripts'R'Us! All I really had to do was drop them in and go. \o/

So, here is a preview of the house, as of last night:

new-house

However. In my half angry state of "omg this stupid doors", I got the not-so-smart idea to mod my house. It is a beautiful house with 3 rooms, a hallway and a large bedroom, but I've been having sooooo much trouble deciding what to put in 3 separate rooms. So, my idea was, to take out walls, and just make it one giant room. Well.... epic fail!

house-hugeroom

I now have this HUGE room that I have absolutely no idea what to do with. Seriously, I'm clueless ;_; I already have a couch and a fireplace, and a bedroom - so, I'm stumped on this room. I also got another idea to retexture the floor. Note to self: No SL while angry! :O

chevy-zoobys

I got a dog too! I call him Chevy, and he is kinda fun to share the house with. It does suck being in this house alone, so having Chevy to play with is cool. He is one of Zooby's new Ultimate Pets that interact with toys. Very cool :D

pond-expansion-03

So, I've been somewhat busy this week! While I was wandering around my land, I came to the realization that I had tons of space unused. I really only wanted a smaller plot of land when I bought it, but I wanted extra land for the prims. OMG, I'm such a prim hog! But anyway, I decided to make my pond bigger, to use up some extra space. I mean, I pay for it, I might as well use it all, right?

pond-expansion-04

The first thing I did was go out and purchase the two adorable HPMD bunnies that I've been wanting, ever since I seen them on Laleeta's land. These are what I molded my new pond around :D

pond-expansion-02

I think they are totally awesome, and have poses built into them! XD

pond-expansion-01

I do think the new pond turned out pretty well. Its much bigger now, and I put in a couple more trees, and I enjoy it :D With the size of it, can it really be called a pond anymore? Or is it a lake now? *Scratches chin*

In addition to making my pond bigger, I've also been working on some new poses that I finally finished last night! These are inspired from "Red Carpet" events, and gave me a chance to use the huge stack of People magazines that my roommate/cousin brings home from the grocery store every week.

red-carpet-poses-preview

I am actually pleased with these. My main concern with these type of poses, was that they were going to end up looking the same. Because, as I flipped through the magazines looking at the poses, actors/musicians really only stand a few ways as they pose for pictures. But luckily, I had so many magazines with so many pictures, I didn't have much trouble at all with it. ^^

I still need to make ads for these, and I hope to have this set, as well as the couple's pose finished and in the store by Friday :D

And yes. I really do go out in public looking like that. O.o;

I think my build is almost done! :D The inside texturing is done, the ceiling is done, and all that remains is the outside trim and texturing! \o/ Pictures!

build_004

The final layout I've decided upon. I decided to go ahead buy Botanical's maple's for the store, and took a bit of resizing to fit the way I wanted them. I've also used some sculpted ground prims, which worked exactly how I wanted them :D

build_001

I luffffff the tree areas in the store. I know, I know - its strange growing trees indoors, but I think they are cute! I had so much open space, I wanted to do something with it all. :D

build_005

This will the freebie/lucky board area. I wanted some sort of sitting area - I originally planned a couch and stuff, but once I decided on tree for the center, I just had to carry it over here. :D

build_006

The newest addition to the build. The way Kamian explained this to me, the only face I could make was something like this: :/ I was a little confused, and scared about what it would look like. But, when I woke up this morning and seen it - it looked fantastic :D I added the light thing in the middle, which I think, makes it look even better. :D

build_003

I've also been renovating my home! I came across some amazing textures on SLExchange, and I had to have them. They were just sooooo pretty, I decided to use one of them as my flooring! My house seems to be getting darker and darker lately O.o;

build_002

I also found these awesome things in the MudHoney hunt! I loved the look of them, and they matched my bedroom interior perfectly! :D

Thanks to Quaintly, I got an incredible deal on some land. I originally went to check out a 2240sq. meter plot, or something around that size, but ended up walking away with a great 4256sq. meter plot for dirt cheap. That is over twice the size of my land in Polis, and half the price in teir. After a little bit of thinking, I somehow knew exactly what I wanted. First: A house.

envision-land

I went to Barnesworth, the Homestore, and a few other places, before I remembered the one house I truly fell in love with a while ago. Because I lived in a prefab rental, I couldn't have my own home - so I've kept a list of gorgeous homes that I would love to have if I ever owned land again. Well, now is the time, and I was actually unbelievably excited.

There was actually several things I missed about owning land. Being able to ban morons, being allowed to terraform my own waterways, ponds and stuff, being able to choose my own home, laying down my own trees, and even simply renaming my plot to suit me better. But mostly and most important - to be able to call it MY home. Anyway, on to the pictures!

new-home-front

This house, is SO me, and was the one house that I adored back when it first came out. I went to look at it that day and said: OMG. It's modern, looks like a mini mansion, and is almost greyscale. OMG, mine. I swear, its almost like this house was made just for me. :D And, it comes with a HUD for the windows and lights. O.o;

new-home-back

The rear looks fantastic too. When I showed a member of my RL family this house, he said: "There's no windows!". but as soon as I flipped the camera around, he was like :O Which, I guess is good. I still haven't really finished moving stuff from the old place to this one, but I am still deciding what I want this extra room to be for. Seriously - it has a Living Room, Bedroom, and a Den. I mean, WTF is a Den, anyway? XD

new-home-frontpond

I also knew I wanted a pond. I love Katat0nik's pond so much, and I spend so much time there, I thought I would attempt one of my own. Plus, I had tons of space in front of my house, that I originally had no idea what to do with. So, this was a great idea, I think. I also thought, since I was making a pond, I might as well make it beautiful and a serene place to hang out. So, I added some nature sounds, fireflies, trees, and a dock. I still have some more things I would like to add - like HPMD birds, bunnies, and those bubble chairs I won from the HPMD lucky chair. And possibly some more rocks. If prims allow, I'd also like to add a few fish in the pond. :D

I am also proud to say that I terraformed both the little ocean thing behind my house, as well as my cute little pond. And, omg - I am totally proud, they turned out even better than I expected. :D

BTW - There is still quite a bit of Envision land left, though I am not sure if there are any beachfronts still available. If you are in the market for some great land, read this over, and IM Tiyuk Quellmalz - his prices are amazing, and he seems like a promising new estate owner.
