I have been waiting MONTHS for the return of Windlight - and its finally back! .... However, it isn't all I was hoping it would be. I downloaded it yesterday, but finally played with some presets and settings today. And, I was standing at home while I did this, so my pictures of the awesome Windlight is taken at Bats' and my SL residence. Hehe~
Yes, Windlight is amazingly pretty. I love it. However - my PC is over a year old, and apparently can not handle many of the features. When I turn on the pretty clouds, my SL performance goes downhill. It becomes very choppy, which is very annoying for me. The clouds are great for picture taking, because my computer can't handle them all the time.
Another thing - it messes up my facelight. For those who know me well, you know that is catastrophic for me. Anything that interferes with my facelight is trashed. Because of this reason alone, I don't think I will be using this viewer too often. Also - I also noticed that after moving the camera around, and reseting it - things refuse to rez. This morning, I was out shopping, zoomed in on something, and my avatar refused to rez when I reset my camera. I had to relog to be able to see myself again. O_o

OMG yeahhhh Windlight is just amazing :D Sweet Lucifer was kind enough to make some screenshots for me :( My laptop can't handle Windlight yet so *grrrrrr* But it looks so amazing !!! I really can't wait to work with it myself *sigh*

Omigawd - I love the photos you took! I tried Windlight but it kept crashing me and since I have a a Fisher-Price My First Graphics Card installed, I wasn't getting any been from from it anyway.
And face lights? Omigawd yes! Someone can take away my face light when they pry it from my cold dead hands. I did find a free one that was supposed to be specifically for Windlight at Shapes by Zeda. It is in the main store.
But I also wear a regular Face light too, so I look pretty on my non-WL pc. So, I always have about a gazzilion invisible light balls hovering around my head...sigh How ridiculous am I?

I did try the Zada face light - but, it just wasn't bright enough for me. *Sigh* Though, it seems several people are coming up with settings that are facelight friendly, so thats a good thing.
Haha~ If having that many lights around yourself is ridiculous, I'd hate to see how ridiculous I look! O_O

June Dion of "Bare Rose" put out a few Windlight facelights - 2 and 3 point, for different settings. I think the box is in the freebies corner of the HQ store.

Ah, I must have missed hearing about the BareRose face lights! Thanks for letting me know, I'll definitely check them out!
